1. Overview
At Farmigo, we understand that plans can change. This Refund and Cancellation Policy outlines the terms under which bookings can be cancelled and refunds processed. We aim to be fair to both Guests and Owners while maintaining a reliable booking platform.
2. Guest Cancellation Policy
2.1 Cancellation by Guest
Guests may cancel a confirmed booking subject to the following conditions:
- More than 72 hours before check-in: Full refund of the booking amount minus a 5% processing fee.
- 24 to 72 hours before check-in: 50% refund of the booking amount.
- Less than 24 hours before check-in: No refund. The full booking amount is retained.
- No-show: No refund is provided if the Guest does not arrive at the property.
2.2 How to Cancel
To cancel a booking:
- Open the Farmigo App and navigate to "My Bookings."
- Select the booking you wish to cancel.
- Tap "Cancel Booking" and confirm your cancellation.
- You will receive a cancellation confirmation via email and push notification.
3. Owner Cancellation Policy
3.1 Cancellation by Owner
Owners are expected to honor all confirmed bookings. However, in unavoidable circumstances:
- The Guest will receive a full refund of the booking amount.
- The Owner's listing may receive a reliability penalty, which may affect their listing visibility and ranking.
- Repeated cancellations by an Owner may result in account suspension.
4. Refund Processing
4.1 Refund Timeline
- Approved refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days.
- Refunds will be credited to the original payment method used for the booking.
- Bank processing times may vary and are outside of Farmigo's control.
- In cases of unavailability or service failure, Farmigo will refund clients in full within 30 days.
4.2 Refund Methods
Refunds are processed through the same payment method used for the original transaction. If the original payment method is no longer available, we will work with you to arrange an alternative refund method.
5. Special Circumstances
5.1 Force Majeure
In the event of extraordinary circumstances beyond the control of either party (natural disasters, government restrictions, health emergencies, severe weather), Farmigo may offer:
- Full refund to the Guest
- Booking credit for future use
- Free rescheduling to alternative dates
5.2 Property Not as Described
If a Guest arrives at the property and finds it significantly different from the listing description:
- The Guest should contact Farmigo support immediately with photographic evidence.
- Farmigo will investigate the complaint within 24 hours.
- If the complaint is valid, a full or partial refund may be issued at Farmigo's discretion.
- The Owner's listing may be subject to review, correction, or suspension.
5.3 Safety Issues
If a Guest encounters safety concerns at the property that make the stay untenable, they should leave the property immediately and contact Farmigo support. A full refund will be provided for verified safety issues.
6. Booking Modifications
Guests may request modifications to their booking (date changes, duration changes) subject to:
- Availability of the property on the requested dates
- Approval by the Owner
- Any price differences must be settled at the time of modification
- Modification requests should be made at least 48 hours before the original check-in date
7. Disputes
If you disagree with a refund decision:
- Contact Farmigo support at support@farmigopk.com within 7 days of the refund decision.
- Provide relevant documentation to support your claim.
- Our team will review the dispute and respond within 5 business days.
- Farmigo's final decision on disputes will be binding.
8. Service Fee Refunds
Farmigo service fees are generally non-refundable. However, in cases where the cancellation is due to an Owner's fault, force majeure, or significant property misrepresentation, the service fee may also be refunded.
9. Boost and Promotional Credits
Payments made for listing boosts and promotional features are non-refundable once the boost period has begun. Unused boost credits may be applied to future campaigns.
